โPalace Hotel & Spa Termas de S. Tiago is well worth a visit, the hotel is spacious, clean, comfortable and well run. The breakfast is self service with everything laid on for you and is of a high quality. The spa facilities are good, the pool has powerful jets that massage well and the staff are welcoming. โLocation is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread! โwe stayed in one of the sculptures. we liked having 100% privacy (no shared walls/floors/ceiling), the top open to the sky, the large shower, and the firm bed. The fridge was also handy for storing drinks we had bought at the grocery store. The pool was great for dangling feet and enjoying the amazing view. Highly recommend doing the "Ruta de pontes" hike for even better views. The breakfast is great, plenty of options. The dinner not so great, but the moscow mule was great.โ

โA fine place to stay, but itโs PR is not helped by the unattractive photo of the indoor pool which is prominent in its advertising. I would suggest a shot of the town of Manteigas from the hotel- a beautiful vista indeed.โ
โWe had a really lovely stay at Casa do Cedro - the building and the grounds are beautiful, the room spacious and comfortable, and the service from Ana was excellent: friendly, personal and attentive. And the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel!โ

โSuperbe endroit! Vue ร couper le souffle dans une belle grande maison dโun dรฉcor tirรฉ du passรฉ. Le coucher du soleil sur notre terrasse de la cabine 6 รฉtait splendide. Bon dรฉjeuner fourni directement ร la cabine. Cuisine complรจte et salle de bain correcte.
Il faut marcher en pente pour sโy rendre avec les bagages, la communication a รฉtรฉ plus difficile car je ne parle pas portugais, il nโy a pas de rรฉception, il y a peu de restaurants aux alentours.

โI was using the hotel to break up a long drive from Santander to Lisbon. Arriving in the late evening, I feared the kitchen would be closed by the time I arrived. But the gentleman who checked me in quickly took me to the bar where they made me a toasted sandwich while I put my things in my room, which I greatly appreciated.
The room was extremely comfortable, breakfast was good, and the little touches of wool and wool related paraphernalia were a nice touch. I didn't get to use the pool, but...
