This was such an amazing property! The history was so interesting. I wish we were staying a few more nights to take advantage of all the amenities. Stunning hotel, wonderful staff, very modern. The two not so great things I have to share was the toilet room of the bathroom had something on the walls and down by the trash can, not sure what it was, but was slightly off putting. Secondly, there were a set of adult handprints on the glass slightly above bed level. All in all, this is a gorgeous hotel, and I’d recommend it in the future.

The Asher Adams, Autograph Collection is a decent place to stay in Salt Lake City. This hotel is located in the historic Salt Lake City Union Pacific Depot that once served as the Amtrak station in SLC. It now has a nice shopping area behind the hotel called the Gateway. As for the hotel itself, the rooms are nice and quiet. The elevators operate pretty quickly and efficiently. It did take me a minute or two to get hot water in the bathroom sink and shower and the configuration of the toilet and shower are in different stalls and are not situated together in one bathroom as is standard in most hotels. That may not be to everybody's liking. The hotel also lacks a convenience store or vending machines but it does have a good coffee shop as well as two restaurants, a bar and a gym. However, if you're looking for a pool, you'll want to stay elsewhere. There maybe better places to stay in SLC or Utah in general, but you wouldn't go wrong staying at Asher Adams especially if you want to be in close proximity to the Delta Center which is right across the street.

We had an incredible stay! We had a room with a view of the Gateway fireworks and DJ, the NYE party was a blast and the food in the lounge was on par. We stayed at Asher as a midway stop to our destination. Check in was fast which we appreciated so that we had time to go to the bar and have some dinner and drinks which was amazing. This place looks amazing and has beautiful rooms. We stayed in 831 and I don’t know if the scent for the rooms are a tobacco base but the room smelled like stale cigarettes and we were above Flanker’s bar and you could hear the bass from the music there until 230 AM so it wasn’t quiet at all.

The restaurant was excellent, with a talented chef and amazing service—special thanks to Ella, who truly made our experience unforgettable.
