Gorgeous Victorian style house full of antiques and beautiful decorations, very comfortable room. Has a private parking in the back or you can park on the street in front. You enter via a code. The breakfast is delicious and abundant, you choose from a menu that includes eggs and bacon. The host is super friendly. Great stay!!

Suggestions for the property: 1) window coverings are hard to operate and don't offer the best darkening or privacy--an upgrade would be awesome. 2) Antique tableside lamp plug/wiring were very fragile and seemed worn (had to plug into a different outlet to fit plug for a charger and the lamp would flicker on and off if the plug or wire were jostled at all); would replace the plug on the lamp so it's more secure (and possibly safer?).

Very charming house; nicely decorated; wonderfully presented and delicious breakfast of cottage cakes, French toast and fresh fruit; gracious host Only drawback was electrical - not enough lamps/light and convenient access to sockets to charge phones. A traditional bed and breakfast that has the BEST people. The breakfast in the morning is 5 stars and the chef is personable and eager to highlight places to see. There is a nice walk from the property north to Ensign Peak that is not only a great exercise, but their are lots of unique and lovely homes nestled in the quiet walk. It does get a little steep. The historic Church of the Madeleine Cathedral is an incredible place to visit. The art work, sounds and scents raised my spirits on a dreary day! Enjoy yourself!

Great Spot in SLC

Super value right in DT SLC! Staff & service is great. Rooms are super comfortable and the breakfast is as good as it gets. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Great young family owns it and they are definitely have their hearts into this little business.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Ellerbeck. It's our new favorite little gem in SLC. Victorya is an incredible host. We felt comfortable and well cared for. We'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a comfortable, unique experience that includes, thoughtfulness and special touches.
