This is our go-to hotel as it is close to the boat yard. Always clean, with reliable air conditioning and a modern touch. The pool area is nice, beware the tile floors in the minimal gym, very slippery breakfast used to be included, now that you pay for it, there are better options within walking distance. Secure parking is a plus. No coffee maker in the room, just instant coffee in the lobby before the restaurant opens. Midweek prices are well worth it.

Great location in town, you can walk to a few places to eat. But the hotel is very average. Nothing wrong with the place. Its functional. Bed, shower, bar. But for the price I paid there are other options in the area that have better room options - like a fridge in the room, balcony for drying wet suits, etc. The rooms are clean, wifi was hit or miss, hot water was hit or miss but the bar open late. Staff was nice and helpful.

Good, but could be better

I've stayed at the Sawari many times and it it very conveniently located. This last trip was my first time eating at the restaurant there and the food was not all that great, so I won't be doing that again. One of my traveling friends had to get another room because his bed (sheets) had hair from a prior guest. My room wasn't too clean but at least the bed had clean sheets / cover.
