Property serves the purpose. Train is a stones throw away and VERY LOUD at 3am! Bring earplugs. Older property, clean enough. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious enough.

Hard Rock Hotel San Diego
They charged $100 more than it was showing on hotels.com. Said it is mandatory resort fees. We were given a handicap room which was fine until showering.
