“This place is a birder’s paradise. They have every tropical habitat you could want on the back trails, and proper guides to spot the birds. The rooms are very good, the front desk staff was charming. The views are spectacular. The feeders are jammed with birds. Only negative was that we were almost totally rained off for 24 hours, but that’s what can happen in a rainforest. I already want to return. ”

Die Mountainsuite ist in die Jahre gekommen und hat auch kein Kühlschrank. Heizung gibt es auf Anfrage ohne Aufpreis. Leider sind die Fenster sehr undicht und klappern bei starkem Wind. “Ich finde vier Steme Hotel und Luxury Villa als übertrieben. Grundsätzlich ist dies ein sehr schönes und gut gelegendes Hotel. Jedoch sind die Informationen auf der Webseite veraltet. Es gibt kein Morning Walk mehr. Einer der Pools war defekt und der andere hatte teilweise scharfe Kanten aufgrund nicht vorhandener Kacheln. Auch war mir die Wasserqualität suspekt, da keine Umwälzung stattfand. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Das Abendessen eher einfach trotz Gourmetwerbeschild auf der...

“Home made breakfast in the morning. Newer unit, # 14 I believe was green-built and fantastic. More quiet and off the road. Beautiful property, wish we would have stayed longer-room smelled like cedar and fresh mountain air. Great TV with wireless capacity. ”

“This property was amazing. It was serene and peaceful. The owners are truly welcoming they treat you like your family. It is run fby Family , and it truly shows and how they take care of their guest. There are knowledgeable and accommodating when offering suggestions and activities in the area. Our family of four stayed in one room. It had proper accommodations for all of us. Breakfast was made every morning and it was delicious. Highly recommend going to the area to stay this hotel ”

“The food and drink are amazing! It is a beautiful setting over looking the lake. They have their own farm on sight and we were able to visit the animals--including baby pigs and horse. Highly recommend!”

“Staff took us to our room only to make us move again after we settled in because she took us to the wrong room, but would not admit her mistake and lied to us instead. Found large bug on our bed crawling. Found more bugs on the ceiling and mosquito flying around in the room and a large beetle on the floor. Lamb burger for dinner meat was undercooked. Told receptionist about everything and they said and did nothing. ”

“The Retreat is gorgeous. The views of the Volcano and Lake are amazing. The pescatarian menu is perfect for vegetarians and pescatarians. All three meals are served. We did not have meals included but very much enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. The pocket sized gathering places are charming - slider over looking lake, dining room and reception, the separate lounge area with tea and coffee looking into the jungle. The evening walk was fun. The property is on the top of a very steep hill...

“ Difficult to find in the dark but there is gate with name on it and they’ll open it for you to enter . Parking at mini-house. 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen. Deck with sun bathing area. Jet tub. Patio. Good wifi. Fans. Big zapper. Lots of bugs. Water was not always hot but warm. Great onsite hike with amazing views! Would come back!”

“We loved this spot! Our room was ready a little early. Everything was great. We loved the outdoor tub. The king bed was comfy. This room did provide toilettes. They has a med kit, lady products and anything else you could need. I wish we could have stayed another night. ”
