"We had a fantastic stay at the Royal Sun Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tenerife. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our visit, which really made a difference to our experience. Our apartment was lovely and perfect for the four of us (two couples). The air conditioning was excellent, and the bathroom was impressively huge and spacious. The pool area was well maintained and provided a lovely spot to relax. A special mention must go to the breakfast buffet - it was incredible and we'd highly recommend adding this to your stay. We got into a great routine of eating breakfast at the hotel each morning, having lunch out while exploring, then cooking in the apartment each evening (we used the room service menu one evening, which was great value and delicious). The location proved to be a great base for exploring the island with a hire car, and the local area itself was fantastic. The only downside was that the kitchen felt quite dated with some very old appliances. We encountered a leaky kettle and a few items that were difficult to use or broken, but we managed to work around these issues. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The combination of excellent staff, comfortable accommodation, fantastic breakfast, and great location made for a memorable stay."

"The hotel was amazing , all the staff were very friendly and professional, very helpful, every single staff member were smiling all the time, even when they had worked a lot of hours, nothing was to much trouble for them, right across the board, restaurants staff, bar staff house keeping staff , entertainment staff, all of them an amazing team that made our hoilday perfect . It was our first time going to a Riu hotel and we will certainly be going back, I work in hospitality so I know how hard it is , and I could tell that the staff all mix in together brilliant and thank you for an amazing time with entertainment every night perfect . "This was our first time at a resort and Tivoli la Caleta Resort has set the bar very high. From the moment we arrived it was excellent service from the bellhop to the attendant to the cleaning staff. We were at the property for five nights and the level of service was high the entire time. Our room was lovely, the amenities outstanding and fantastic turn down service every night. An incredible experience and one that we hope to enjoy again soon. The views are stupendous, we had a meal at the poolside bar and enjoyed breakfast every morning. The area immediately surrounding the resort was calm and quiet and there is a sidewalk that extends to the boardwalk that was well lit at night. I cannot say enough food things about our experience. We also used the spa services and they were superb. "

"What a wonderful hotel and the all inclusive was excellent. We enjoyed having lunch at Breeze overlooking the ocean - you could even have steak! Breakfast and dinner buffets were brilliant as well. The all inclusive included all drinks and the cocktails were freshly made. The wine was from a bottle and not on tap and very good quality. I recommend the pina coladas and Aperol Spritz! The pool area was well maintained - we could always find a sunbed. We hired a car which was quicker and cheaper than a transfer from the airport and have us the opportunity to drive up Mt Teide and to the Masca Gorge - both of which were stunning views and the landscape is beautiful. All in all a wonderful relaxing week away! Thank you Barcelo Santiago!"

"Beautiful, well kept hotel. Spacious rooms. Huge pools surrounded by palms and gardens. Food is generally very good and there is enough variety to please most people, most nights. Half board was good value, for us, as drinks are not expensive, with nice cocktails for €7 and beer for €4. Unless you are a massive drinker or never want to leave the hotel, all inclusive is probably less good value. "
