Clean, modern room, comfortable bed, good WiFi access, a nice lounge for reading and computer use and good proximity to the train station and all the shops, bars and restaurants. Our room was at the back and it was dark with the only window looking out into a light well so the lounge was a great place to get things done. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Okako. Super friendly and helpful on arrival, even though we were early. Rooms were very clean, bed was super comfy and there were all the amenities you’d need including a Dyson hairdryer and straighteners. No breakfast available but free coffee in reception and a great breakfast/brunch cafe just around the corner. Convenient area for walking to the beach, Gros or the old town.

Finally a hotel with some character. Actual art on the walls and a decor which isnt just run of the mill. The rooms are very small and the bed wasnt topnotch, but other than that, the place was wonderful. Location is great if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. Would definately stay there again.

Lovely hotel walking distance from bus station and also to the centre and beach. Room very comfortable with excellent shower. Only downside was the noise from the station until fairly late at night.

Wonderful location close to the beach and old town of San Sebastian. We loved that a soft toy was included in the cot for our baby to play with while we stayed here. Worth noting that there are several stairs to the entrance so it isn't particularly accessible if you are hauling a pram or large suitcase into the building, and the lift to the first floor broke while we were staying there.

Property and people were great. Really appreciated the water and keyless entries. Close to everything but far enough to quiet rest. Only real complaint would be bathroom, starting to be a little moldy.

This hotel/ pensión is in a great location a very short walk to the bus/ railway station and to the beaches and old city etc. the property and room were very clean, great little sitting area and coffee/ tea station with fresh fruit and muffins etc provided. Good wifi, helpful staff, a few problems with the coded entry system. I’d say it’s good value and would recommend it to friends.

I was looking for a low cost affordable clean and safe place to stay overnight (I was travelling on my own, female, 50s) between taking the train from Paris and catching the bus to Lisbon. This hotel is very basic, but I fully understand why it gets such excellent reviews. I was arriving late, so I did an online check in, which gave me the code for the front door and my room. I arrived having not had dinner, but there was water, fruit, snacks, and coffee in the lobby, which worked for me. The room was clean, comfortable bed, and great water pressure in the shower. Even a good hair dryer! The hotel is very close to the bus station, something that was important for me also. Overall, great hotel for my needs.

The hotel is in an excellent location- very easy to old town, the other parts of the centre and Gros. It was lovely walking to the beach in the morning for breakfast! The staff were very helpful and booked us taxis etc. The room was big, modern and clean, with a huge bed. The only improvement I would suggest is tea and coffee in the room (but it was still good to have it downstairs).
