"Thank you for having a top sheet on the bed, phone, click and notepad in the room! Love the free underground parking. Hotel is older but close to everything and easy to find. Scrambled eggs from powder were dry. Would have liked more fresh fruit. Room very quiet - nice! Price was high for this type of hotel."

"Highly suggest going in the fall - not crowded at all. The cottages are like staying in a hotel room and the beds/shower water temperature are 10/10. I didn't use the amenities since I was in cottage except for the community fire. Which I felt I wouldn't like it, but it's a good way to interact with other people, especially if you're common in Solo because you always can bond over a good fire."

"Great location. Very clean suite. Weakest areas - the bathroom in dire need of updating (and fan needs to be replaced— screeched, shut off, started again, repeat) The two overhead light fixtures in living and dining area need dimmers - and a floor lamp would be great to make living area more welcoming and cozy. Futon sofa pretty uncomfortable for sitting and relaxing for the evening. Kitchen was very good. Would definitely stay again—but a few tweaks would make this suite amazing! Above and beyond everything - the “world famous apple fritters” are everything they claim to be! As a baker, I more than appreciated the taste, texture and size. Amazing! Wonderful surprise to have the complimentary fritters and coffees for both of us!"

"After travelling for many hours, we found the pub attached to the hotel very hospitable. The staff was great, fun and efficient. Even though the hotel offers hot tubs (indoor and out), they are closed at 10:30, not allowing a chance to enjoy."
