“We stayed at the Habitat. There was no staff to assist. Signage only says check out but no check in so it was confusing, We had to seek help from the nearby friendly Karin Onsen staff. This is okay but it would be better if we were informed in advance.”

“My hotel room was more than I expected! Great space, huge bathroom, awesome room amenities, cute Hawaiian pjs, warm outdoor shower to wash up after surfing, and loaner bikes.
Piping under my sink was broken and leaking, but maintenance was able to replace the pipe while I was at the beach.
Not sure if it’s just the time of year, but local restaurants and cafes closed early. Lime Surf shop, which is within walking distance, was a great place to rent a wetsuit and surf board. Owners were...
