Most of them speak simple english and even when they did not understand, they had a translator phone to communicate with us. "We absolutely loved our stay. Very easy to get to and the room included everything you need to be comfortable. Highly recommend anyone traveling to Otaru consider staying here. Laundry facilities also available on the premises as well as room service every 3 days. Can’t wait to visit again!"

"We stayed here in hopes of seeing Mt. Fuji and got the best view. We enjoyed a relaxing day of rain, but woke to sun and a great view. The property is clean and staff freinsly. It was a birthday trip and they noticed it on my passport and created a sign and gift. Should’ve read the details on the website to bring food in, but they were willing to help. Will for sure stay if ever in the area again. "

"Property had doubled the price at check in and wanted us to pay them directly. I booked on Expedia thinking I had it all covered. Being in the middle of nowhere in a foreign county, I felt scammed. We had to look for a new place during the night on the fly. Worst part of our visit to Japan was this booking. I felt they knew they were the only option available nearby. "

"Property is not suitable for inclement weather - we stayed during winter when wind speed was high, the cabin was shaking and banging through the night, could not get any sleep. Owners should recognise this, and close the facility during inappropriate seasons even if it means losing business "

"施設は出来立てで綺麗です。 一番気になったのは部屋のスリッパがあったんですがトイレのスリッパがないから部屋のスリッパで入らないといけないことが嫌でした。 トイレ用にも使い捨てスリッパを置いておいて欲しいです。"
