"I really wanted to stay in a Ryokan whilst in Japan however for my skin conditions I am a little wary with shared bathrooms, so this was perfect for me. Although a little further out from the busy busy Namba and Umeda areas I really appreciated the calmness after returning from Dotonburi on a night time. "easy check in despite limited English of staff. we arrived early in the morning and room was not ready. staff was able to lock our luggage and provided us with a map of the local area. there are some trails to the local shrine. room was great! extremely clean and cosy. outdoor bath and shower were great. checked out the public bath as well which was very clean and well maintained.
