The breakfast was great, the staff friendly and helpful and the hotel and grounds well maintained, charming and comfortable. Only minor issues were with the late check-in procedure and the beds, which were on the small side compared to most hotels these days. Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay again.

The property itself is beautiful and has characters. It holds a luxurious vacation home standards. The ladies who host the place are wonderful. The front entrance was hard to find. It would be nice if the room has air-conditioning.

Our stay at Villa Camelia was truly superb! Visiting in low season meant we had a near-empty property to enjoy - and it's a stunning house! The communal spaces are truly whimsical and there's something new to spot every time you walk through. Our room was very homely and the high ceilings on the upstairs level made it feel even more spacious. The breakfast served by Berta each morning was splendid, with lots of choice and all of it delicious. The grounds surrounding the house are plentiful and well-maintained and we cannot wait to return in the summer months to spend our downtime outside in the sun! Simply put; do not hesitate to book your stay here!

A beautiful stay!

After landing in Madeira, we headed straight to the property and were delighted to arrive. The surrounding area and grounds are beautiful and have all the facilities you could need including the pool (albeit, a bit chilly for this time of year), massage area and other areas to relax. Our room was incredibly clean, comfortable and very informative about the area and property facilities. Our favourite aspect was Berta’s breakfast. She is a wonderful and warm woman, who would go above and beyond to help and cater to the guests needs. The food was delicious and set us up for the hikes ahead!

Dies ist ein so liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit einem wundervollen großen Grundstück, mit vielen schönen Sitzmöglichkeiten Für mich war das mit Abstand schönste Hotel, in dem ich je war. Die Servicekraft hat mit ihrer Freundlichkeit noch mal ein i-Tüpfelchen drauf gesetzt. Kann ich wirklich nur wärmstens empfehlen, wenn man mal etwas besonderes haben möchte

En sjælden perle

Virkelig en perle. Smukt og gæstfrit. Lækker morgenmad hos Berta i køkkenet. Rent og pænt. Honestybar i køkkenet, hvor man kan købe drikkevarer. Haven og parken er fantastisk smuk med lyskæder om aftenen og mange hyggelige kroge man kan slappe af i. Poolen er uopvarmet, men dejlig frisk.

Intimt og hjemmekoselig hotell med stor hage i fredelig nabolag. Serviceinnstilt og hyggelig betjening. God og variert frokost med hjemmelaget kake på fint oppdekket langbord i en vakkert innredet spisekjeller. Grei gjesteparkering. Anbefales varmt!
