“For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.”

“I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.”

“The Inn is small, quiet, and comfortable. The cats and dog on the property brought me smiles and the braver/friendlier cat was a lot of fun. The small pond attracts beautiful wildlife including my first tiger heron! I felt safe, had hot showers, and slept well. I wished the kitchen was serving but it was off-season and I found delicious food in town. Having a rental car made it easy to get to downtown and explore.”
