"We come to San Diego monthly to visit mom in assisted living.. so we’re always in search of convenient and efficient lodging at a budget price . This place really hits the mark! Pros: good value, centrally located, friendly and helpful staff. Replaced non working hair dryer within 5 minutes of calling. Front desk staff super helpful, I needed some disposable utensils .. they had them. Ran out of poop bags for service animal, they found something that worked! Cardio equipment in gym in good condition. I felt safe walking my dog alone at night on property. Pool area looked inviting and landscaped beautifully. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Didn’t eat there but nice to know there was a cafe and bar on premises. Good cell service (believe me there are actually dead spots in SD). Cons: while the room wasn’t dirty, some areas such as top of headboard needed dusting. Towel racks were dusty towards end that is at the mirror. I always travel with wipes for these situations. Overflow drain in sink needs to be cleaned. Super small room. No microwave in room. Would be nice if gym was bigger and had some free weights. Cardio only. While equipment was clean, there were no cups for water, towels or paper towels for wiping down equipment before or after use. Shelving was very dusty/dirty. I didn’t set my belongings on it. Gym bathrooms very clean. Cafe/bar hours were limited to breakfast and dinner. "

"This is a great resort in san diego. I only stayed for a couple of days but it was beautiful for the short time I was there. Staff are great, food is great, rooms are great and I love the little coffee shop called Joe's in the lobby."
