We ended up here after a terrible experience somewhere else where we had to leave after only 2 days into our 4 night stay, so expectations were already higher than normal. The experience was great before we even arrived, i had contacted the property hoping for an early check in since we had checked out from the previous hotel. The front desk staff were very accommodating, professional and respectful. They allowed us to check in early and just driving up to the property which is perfectly hidden away was great. The staff both at front desk, the bar, rhe restaurant down to the ladies that cleaned our room were amazing and extremely attentive. The river right outside our balcony was amazing. The property was also gorgeous and well taken care if. The only thing that could have made our stay better was airport transportation from the hotel. Regardless it was well worth it and absolutely made up for the messy start to our trip. Will absolutely stay here again.

It was great overall, the only problem was that I found a roach in the bathroom right after the lady cleaned the room , meaning she didn’t clean it properly.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The view of the river while getting our massage was perfect. Staff was friendly and professional did I mention the food service there was nothing that wouldn’t recommend on the menu. The only thing I would complain about was the fact that in the recreational area a lot of the items for entertainment where in disarray and not functioning but we definitely enjoy the pool table.

The Jimenoa River runs through the resort and is beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves. It’s a wonderful place with natural surroundings that create a sense of relaxation. We had some very nice breakfasts and dinners during our stay. Also, the drinks from the bar were great!

It is a very rustic hotel, and a very quiet one. a little hidden from the town. The river goes right through the back, and if you aget a room with a balcony to it, it is very soothing. The food at the restaurant is extremely good, everything we ordered was delicious.

Great place to enjoy nature and tranquility. Best tihing is it"s location on the river. Best place in Jarabacoa so far. Not a 5 star hotel, but great value for the price. Very safe and away from all the noise. Unbeateble Will defenetly come back.

The location itself is a gem as the hotel is perched on the bank of the Jimenoa River. The staff is courteous and friendly. The facilities, however, are pitifully antiquated, what you’d expect at a Motel 6 back in the ‘80s. There’s zero security, with random bands of local youth roaming across the hotel’s property. A diamond in the rough.

It was a nice hotel but dated and in need of a refurb. The rooms were very clean. The area around the hotel and parts of the river had trash which the hotel should make an effort and clean up. The sink water was dark brown one morning with no explanation as to why from the hotel staff. Overall a nice experience with an incredible river front location.

This hotel is so pretty, the views are amazing and the location is ideal because you're not in the smack dab middle of the town. The service is pretty good. We did not go during a busy season so anything we requested was done with speed and ease. We were free to explore everywhere and no one bothered us. They even allowed us to bring food from the outside and eat on their patio by the river and provided us with plates and cups, then even cleaned up after us which was very nice! I would definitely recommend Gran Jimenoa :)
