“This hotel is truly a beautiful property in this idyllic town near the center of Portugal. We stayed as a one night stop on the way down from Lisbon towards the Algarve which worked out beautifully. One of the best sunsets I’ve had the privilege to witness from the balcony and the breakfast buffet and helpfulness of the staff was world class. Highly recommended! ”

“Beautiful and comfortable home. The listing was a little incomplete so it was unclear exactly what we were getting but pleasantly surprised. One very confusing experience is they never mentioned an actual couple lives on-site and are the hosts. They came by when we got there and were very kind and accommodating. It just would have been helpful to know they would be there. The listing said it was entirely self check-in. ”

“Wunderschöne, äußerst stilvolle Anlage mit toll eingerichteten Zimmern. Besonders am Abend war das Licht einfach traumhaft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Frühstück war sehr gut und konnte auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Pool und die Reisfelder genossen werden. Highlight: Rooftop Bar mit sehr guter Pizza und perfektem Sunset View. Alles ist ruhig und entspannt – der perfekte Ort zum Abschalten und Erholen. Absolute Empfehlung!”

“The property is lovely but: 1. Everything was closed at 8 pm. We hiked the trail and showered and went for dinner and got home for a swim or relaxing Turkish bath… closed. 2. Gorgeous breakfast… however we came early to have a simple coffee and light fruit then returned to room to get our luggage ready for transfer. Came back to have a breakfast and an elderly male manager questioned us why we came back if we already had been there. He was terribly offensive. I would never return to this...
