"No my room didn't overlook the beach. The room was clean and it was in a terrific location with easy access to everything. This is like a historic building. It's ginormous and it's right across from the beach so lots of rooms face the beach. It has air conditioning. We had two private bedrooms with bathroom and a fridge It suit our needs perfectly. Breakfast was included in the room price. "

Lazy service. I had to ask to do additional towels several times. Check in took 30 minutes. I took 1 hour from SP to Santos, and took 30 minutes for a lousy check in. "

"This is a luxury hotel and conference venue. The walk across the street to the beach (private and secured area for guests) makes it very comfortable and enjoyable. Food was very good, although the sushi bar was just okay. "
