“We stayed in a self catering cottage. The accommodation had everything we needed, lovely bath and fireplace. It is very cold in Tulbagh in mid-winter, but the bed had cosy blankets. This is a working farm, which was fun to explore with my young son. He enjoyed playing with the farm dogs!”

“We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back!”

“Warm welkom, dames doen er alles aan om je een plezierig verblijf te bieden. Prachtig uitzicht uit een aantal kamers. Veel keus tussen kleinere kamers, iets groter en een heel huis met 1 of meerdere slaapkamers. De dieren op de farm: paarden, kippen en schapen lopen lekker te grazen op grote grasvelden. Goed uitgeruste keuken, eigen terras met meubels en bbq buiten en er ligt hout met aanmaakblokken om vuur te maken. ”

The day of booking the property the owner called after 9pm to enquire where the payment was to which we explained it was purchased on hotels.com AND that the trip was for my SICK mother. Contact met Vicky van de Farmhouse Guest rooms ging prima. Soms een tikkie stug, maar als je wat langer praat ook gewoon heel vriendelijk. We hebben een Game Drive met Esmeralda gedaan en dat was fantastisch. Heel vriendelijk en een prachtige drive, veel informatie en ondanks dat ze niet de Big Five hebben, voelde het soms zelfs meer bijzonder...
