The staff here was super friendly! The mini cottages are cute and the location — across the street from the Soo Locks viewing platform and amongst all the downtown shops and restaurant — is ideal.

Lockview was a perfect motel for our visit to the Soo. The cabin unit was clean, spacious, quiet and had comfortable beds. The location was great - directly across from the park for viewing the locks. We had a good dinner at the restaurant next door.

As other reviews have stated the motel is quite dated and in need of a fair bit of TLC. The staff looked to be doing the best with what they had to work with. The location however can't be beat, the motel is in the heart of downtown and within easy walking distance of nearly all the local attractions.
