We have stayed at the Lockview a few times in the past which brought us back. The Lockview has changed over the years, adding small cabins, a new sign, and improved morning breakfast area. Unfortunately, we stayed on the second floor in the original motel. The curtains had multiple holes in them, the towel I used was ripped, the bathtub was horribly stained yellow and actually dirty looking. There are cleaning products to take care of that. With this said, we will not stay again.

Good refrigerator, great location and roomy, but downhill after that. Code to get in didn’t work. Staff showed up quickly and gave us a key to use instead. The parking was extremely tight for the cabins. The hot water didn’t work, which earned them one star for this stay.

Across the street from Soo locks & shops/ r was restaurants. Was there from Monday thru Friday. Didn't see housekeeping in my room until the morning I was scheduled to leave

Great water pressure & internet Carpets, bathroom, upholstered furniture stained. My biggest issue was lack of space - less than 18 inch to walk between bed to get in the bathroom and about 9 inches on the other side. Needed space for toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy.

Amazing location directly across the street from the Soo Locks! We literally could not have had a better location! The room was good, clean and had nice space. Our only complaint would be that the a/c was incredibly loud. We would definitely stay again!

We were in cottage #130 which was in the back with no one to the left of us. Very sweet room. Had everything we needed. Nice hot breakfast, too. The motel is across the street from the Soo Locks so easy to tour them. It’s on a busy street with lots of nice shops but by bedtime things were settled down. We really enjoyed our meal at the Lockview restaurant next door, too! We recommend staying here. Thanks all!!

We loved the cabins. So cute and the furniture inside is beautiful. I really like this spot becuase you could sit outside. Property is very well maintained. Great coffee in the morning. I’m picky about coffee and they had good coffee and good creamer. Really comfortable beds. The best thing about this place is the staff. They are so kind. Any hiccup in your trip and they are very understanding.
