I loved my stay in the Godley Manor! Beautifully restored and very quiet. I never heard any noise from other residents. I actually felt like I was the only one staying there! The location is blocks from Forsyth Park and the beautiful fountain featured in the movie Forest Gump. Also the location is blocks from free public transportation. I highly recommend the Old Savannah Tours! Very informative! Pam even arranged for them to pick me up at the manor and they will even bring you back when you are ready. As a single woman traveler I always felt safe and secure in the manor and all throughout the city. I can’t say enough about the hospitality, and the people of Savannah. I hope to be back soon and will definitely stay here if I’m lucky! Thanks for my wonderful experience!

Godley Manor was such an interesting place to stay. It is a beautiful old house and the neighborhood is full of similar properties. It is a very nice area to walk around and there are several things to see within walking distance. We would definitelt stay there again.

No better way to experience the beauty of Savannah architecture and the gracious hospitality of the area than to stay at Godley Manor. Beautiful property. Very unique and picturesque. Terrible Wi-fi. Could not even watch TV. Watch for 10 seconds and spool for 12 seconds. That’s the only complaint. Everything else was excellent.

Lovely old style property. Warm and friendly receptionist. Room was fantastic, large and bed very comfortable. Easy walk to riverside with lots of shops on the way. Plenty of dining options as well. Quiet area with parking a bonus at the property.

The Manor is gorgeous! Easy check-in, spacious rooms, walkable location, and coffee/tea room on main floor. I was a little sad to see a continental breakfast in place of a what used to be a B&B cooked breakfast, but it was something.
