"There were red/possible blood stains on the bathroom floor, with the showers having multiple patch jobs and stains in them as well, th hotel itself had an overwhelming cleaner smell as you walk in, which wasn’t a big deal, but we suspected it was masking the upstairs smell in the room hallways, which smelled very heavily of a moldy mildew smell, the pool is smaller than what’s advertised, but hey it’s a beach so who honestly cares! Breakfast does not have any hot options, it’s mainly cereal and bagels, which again, is no big deal, just would have liked to have seen that in the description! I suspect the smell in the hotel was the cause of our family getting sick if it was a mold base. They are highly allergic to mold, and we all left sick and disgusted by the condition of the hallways and the rooms. The staff was kind, but just a bit hard to talk to due to a language barrier, but otherwise, it wasn’t a horrible stay, it just wasn’t advertised properly online. Not quite worth 800 for three nights. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Moody Gardens Friday through Sunday. We were there for Showtime Internationals Competition weekend. Moody Gardens was also hosting Ironman. There was plenty parking, everything was clean from lobby to poolside. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had lunch at the Cafe the food was amazing. We purchased tickets for the day pass for Moody Gardens attractions which is just a short walk from the hotel. The hotel room was spacious as well as the bathroom. Bedding was very comfortable. Overall stay was great. We will be staying again in the future. "

"Things we're ok except the scent from cleaning room and washing bedding. I'm alergic to perfume and dyes. And had to cover pillow with coat. Could hardly breathe. Opened door so most of smell would be out of room. "

"They give a room when we got there it wasnt ready so i had to come back to front desk and wait to get it clean also i booked for 4 person and the room had only 1 king bed, about the pool it was full then i had to pay for a cabans they charge $380 for for half day nothing inluided i did not mentioned i psy more than $800 a night for that room and it was just a simple room..that is crazy"

"Dirty, stains on carpet/walks, hair and crumbs in bed. Employee vaping in elevator. Breakfast buffet service bad, items running out, trash over flowing, tables not cleaned etc. Would never stay here again."

"The old guy at the front is horrible. Customer service is horrible. The restroom dirt dirt all around the toilet brown rust."
