"We often stay here and love the friendly staff and the decent free breakfast. The location is great and the amenities make it feel like a mini resort . I love the lobby and the sense of an old English Inn. Unfortunately the newest update in furniture and decor makes it feel more like a chain and not in a good way. It is a shame to change up to modern cheap stuff when you had better older stuff that could just be refurbished. Still, great value!"

"Rooms were clean, spacious. Breakfast offerings were fresh and included healthy options. Staff friendly and parking was safe/easily accessible. Location is convenient and walkable to many surrounding areas of interest/restaurants/shops"

"We had a quick one night stay on a family vacation. Great staff and they accommodated an early check in. Beautiful atrium and lobby area. Kids enjoyed the small indoor pool and hot tub. Loved being able to walk right out to the pedestrian mall and shops, restaurants. "

"Excellent front desk staff. First room we were given was gross. Hairs and stains all over the mattress pad, did not look like it had been washed in months. Second room was better, but there was what appeared to be blood on the duvet. Will not stay here again. "

"Very nice location; close to 64, the Martha Jefferson Hospital, and not too far from Downtown Charlottesville. There's a nice walking path with a couple of ponds right by; great for a stroll. They have a small pool and a decent sized hot-tub. I ate and drank at the bar the first night; the Bartender was very kind and the food was good. The bed was really comfortable, so sleeping was easy. The blackout curtains worked really nicely. Will definitely stay there again next time I need to be close to Pantops."
