“Amazing property but the first night the smoke detector failed and woke us up repeatedly. It was replaced with a used unit the next day and in the middle of the night it went off again as the battery was dead. You would think they would have at least replaced the battery. It’s a shame that what could have been a great stay was ruined by a bad smoke detector. Of note I was taking a class and was exhausted 2 of the three days”

“A very sweet old inn. The magnolia room was very clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. I enjoyed the coffee station right outside the door and the bottled water in the min-fridge was a nice bonus. The shared bathroom was newly updated and very clean. The front porch rockers were lovely to sit and read. There is currently no food on site so bring your own or dine out- the owners provide a good book of suggestions. It’s an easy .6 mile walk to beautiful North Beach which is much less crowded...
