“This was one of our very best experiences on our 30 day road trip. The staff was impeccable and the grounds were absolutely stunning and beautiful. The pool was too cold to enjoy but nothing can be done about that. It is a beautiful infinity pool with a great view the hot tub was enjoyable even though the jets were not functioning as powerfully as normal, we still enjoyed it. The breakfast was really delicious. Many personal touches like complementary water and chocolates were appreciated.”

“We stayed in one of the cottages with a beautiful water view. Lovely room with great bathroom. The breakfast was amazing! Pastries and all cooked to order made on property. Great location for exploring Camden, Rockport etc. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thanks Matt and MJ!”

“Caroline, the proprietress of the Victorian by the Sea, is a delightful hostess. The inn itself is lovely and beautifully maintained, with colorful, well-tended gardens. “The Inn at Primrose Hill cancelled my birthday present trip hours before we were to arrive. So unprofessional and so "Terrible" is the review since we never had the "joy" of a happy birthday celebration. Full disclosure, they did rebook us at a motel in the area, but that wasn't much of a birthday "gift". ”

“I loved the look of this property!!! The owners were super responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The lake was beautiful and so relaxing. The driveway was dirt, but it was smooth and compacted down without pot holes. I would love to return!”

“Delightful in located blocks from the ocean in Castine. Really great breakfast, bikes available to use, good wifi. There was a power outage due to a storm while I was there and while the building didn't have a generator, breakfast was still served the next morning and I noticed very little difference to the inn's normal procedures. Just a small thing, I don't think the heat in my room was on and it felt about 10 degrees colder in there than in the hallway outside. This is likely not an issue for...
