Value for money in the heart of Myeongdong
Great location, 2-3 mins walk to the airport bus stop and myeongdong station. Lobby and room felt quite new and clean. Staff were quite friendly. Toilet had a bidet and heated seat, good for winter! Room is on the smaller side but functional. There is self service laundromat on the first floor which was easy to use. Not so great is that the bed seem to have some plastic sheet underneath and soundproofing is not good. Overall at this price point, it is a comfortable stay for holiday.

We were happy with our stay
Pros: Good size room with all the necessary amenities, mattress was comfy so we slept very well, opposite of a good coffee place (Leesar Coffee) and 711 and best of all we got a good deal as we booked in advance. Cons: Slightly further away from the main Myeongdong shopping street so quiet but can be a hassle to walk back to after a tiring day Overall: We were happy with our stay

Loved my stay at the Creto hotel. It was close enough to the shops/restaurants but in a quite area so had peaceful nights sleep. Staff were helpful and friendly. Cant fault anything

Hotel looks impeccable from the outside. The white/black color scheme really made me interested in booking with this hotel! The room itself was also very nice. It had a big bed and the bathroom had a tub. The only actual thing that irked me was the bathroom in the lobby. It is a handicap accessible bathroom, but the doors were kept open. The smell of the bathroom was overwhelming in the lobby while checking in. Please remind staff to keep those bathroom doors closed, for privacy and cleanliness.

The hotel is located conveniently in Myeongdong close to many restaurants and shopping streets. The front desk and cafe staff are super friendly and speak good english. we had a wonderful, comfy stay overall.

Creto myeongdong is superb
Creto was located in a superb area; convenient but in a quieter corner of myeongdong. Staff were all fantastic and patient. Very lucky and happy to have picked Creto! Will definitely pick this hotel again next time we visit Seoul.

Great Customer Service!
The Creto Hotel is a very clean, compact hotel in the heart of Myung-dong. The hotel has a cozy coffee shop in the lobby that sells Americano coffee for KRW 2,000 (less than USD 2!). My experience at the Creto was elevated from "excellent" to "exceptional" due to the staff member who went well over and beyond his duties to make sure that our needs were met. I would like to recognize Mr. H.L. Kim for the level of customer service he provided. His kindness will bring us back to Creto Hotel next time we visit Seoul.

The person by the desk is nice and very helpful. He helped us and guide us to the bus stop on our deparrure day, he also allowed us to borrow outlet adapter, and love the free bottled water each day and they clean our room everyday. Thank you for the great service.

Great location & very convenient. Just a min walk from myeongdong station exit 10. Staff at concergie is very nice and helpful. Both of them speak English fluently. On a rainy day, umbrella were prepared to lend to customers. And the pillow is so comfy, while the bedding is clean. Must stay again in the future.

The hotel is near myeongdong subway station exit 10. The staff are very friendly, they would greet us whenever they see us. The staff even offer us umbrellas during rainy day! Around the hotel, there are many restaurants and at night, there are street food! It was amazing! I will come back again :)

Ok in general exact towels in bathroom seems need replacement. The cafe at ground floor serves light breakfast and coffee which is good for family gathering before setting out for another day of adventure. Location is excellent not only because at the centre of Myeongdong but it could also be conveniently accessed to and from Incheon Airport by bus or train.

Group was very pleased with the hotel. Room was clean and nice with modern furnishings and reasonable (but not large) space. Amenities provided and bed was comfy. Good location just a few minutes walk from the main Myeongdong shopping street and Myeondgong station. The service was excellent - all the receptionist/concierge (including one Mr. Cho) were very polite, helpful and knowledgeable (ask them for food recommendations). Even the cleaning staff was proactive and helpful. Overall great value for money.

My favourite part about this hotel is the hotel manager (I believe he’s the manager because he knows how to handle everything) he is the best front desk staff i have ever dealt with in Korea. His English is perfect and he went out of his way (even walked us outside to a restaurant when we asked him where to find gopchang) to cater to our EVERY need. I asked him if we could extend our stay for a few hours and he gladly adjusted our key cards. The Airport bus station is close by for easy airport access. Myeong-dong Station is also very close where you will be heading into everyday to get to places. Namsan Cable Car (To N Seoul Tower) is walking distance. 7-11 is only a few steps away. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. PLUS the myeongdong street market is only a block away where you can enjoy street food and shopping at night but this place is nicely tucked to the side where it’s not noisy at all. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!

I really don't understand why this place has such amazing reviews. Location is amazing, but the actual design of the hotel leaves much to be desired. There's very little security, with no passes required to access the room floors. Where I stayed on the third floor, the windows were not double glazed and you can hear every tiny little noise through the windows from people on the street, which, in myeongdong, doesn't really abate until 1-2am. The floors for the hallways and rooms are a polished concrete type material, which is great aesthetically, but did not help noise dampening at all. I had to sleep with a white noise machine and earphones plugged in for a week. Leading back to the third floor problem. The floor downstairs was the business/meeting room. I don't know what kind of meeting was happening but for the first two nights there was screaming going on most of the night. I guess reception was cool with that. I wouldn't stay there again unless necessary. If you are a very deep sleeper you'll love this place. If you're a light sleeper, bring something to block out the noise.

Choose this hotel based on Hotel.com review, which ends up very disappointed. Besides location and staffs were polite, this hotel is not good for family to stay. Room small, very dusty, towels not clean, we stayed there for 5 nights, bed sheets had not been changed, if they have, then all of their bed sheets have stain on them!

Loved this hotel. Rooms are nice and comfy. Staff is hreat. Right smack in Myeongdong. Minute's walk from Myeongdong station exit 10 behind Sejong Hotel. Very close to KAL airport limousine bus stop. Restaurants just below but would recommend you walk further to the busier parts of Myeongdong where the food is better and cheaper.
