The bed was very uncomfortable. Especially not good for someone who is recovering from a major surgery. The lobby on our floor also did not have the AC working, and the power was out at one point and seemed like management did not even know about it until we brought it up to them. Also, we didn’t receive a refund even though we left a week early than planned.

I was surprised at how run down the place was. I heard so many good reviews but was definitely disappointed. We had to change rooms due to cigarette smoke and half the outlet ports didn’t work. Also I asked to have the room made up and they didn’t.

Avoid the Upper Floors
Great location with easy access to subways, and buses. Lots of eating and shopping choices within walking distance. Try to talk the front desk into rooms on the lower floors. I was on the 19th (very top floor) and it took forever to get up and down the elevator. Also, although my room was non-smoking, I smelled cigarette smoke which seemed to be coming from the exhaust vent in the bathroom--I assume drifting up from lower floors. I was there in April and my room temperature was in the 83-87-degree farenheit range. The a/c never got the temperature below 77-degree Farenheit. I also didn't know that the air conditioning control was on the TV remote until I asked the front desk. I would have had a great view from the 19th floor but the windows are only about 6" wide and spaced several feet apart making it hard to enjoy the top floor view. Bring your own 110v plug adapters--the hotel has them available, but charges you a 10,000 Won cash deposit--they won't accept credit cards for the plug deposit.

Good for the price and location
Stayed here a few times coz location is great so close to roads full of restaurants good atmosphere and open late. Room not clean most of the times - floor dirty & bathtubs not often cleaned by housekeeping. The one female receptionist (forgot name) is always rude but the guys are helpful.

Rooms dusty and floor not so clean; room clean service poor. Good: location 10/10 lots of 24hr restaurants nearby close to airport bus stop (3min). Bathtub big water hot and strong pressure. Pillows flat and old mattress too hard.

Hotel is older and smaller room than the pictures
Hotel does not look like the pictures on the website. The hotel is aged and provided torn towels and some stains on the Wall. It could been nicer hotel years ago but it shows its age. The room is much smallee than picture and front desk is not helpful telling me what amenities are available, such as bottled water is provided in fridge but I did not know. There are restarant s and sauna but I did not know. The location is amazing. I think it is frequently used by ladies who visit Korea for plastuc surgeries. Discounted rate on hotel.com is reasonable.

We were on the business floor and i am not sure if that meant you got the bare minumum in amentities. It would have been helpful if the staff told us the remote for the tv could control the lights and ac. It took us about 2 nights of our 4 nights stay to realize that we can turn on and off the lights and ac with the remote. So we were suffering in the heat for a bit. The staff didn't know english well and that's not a reflection on them so there was a slight language barrier when asking questions.

Okay price and great location
+super close to all the fun stuff and train station +Nice, clean bathroom +Overall room + bedsheets + towels were clean +Basic hygienic amenities provided +tall ceilings -walls had a lot of scratches, -room temp could not be controlled. Our room was always at 35 Celsius.; we either needed to open the window or turn on the A/C in this winter time :p

Great location but still Construction on-going
Construction was still on-going on the spa on the 13th floor where our room was located. There was no warning from the staff. When the elevator doors opened we literally were faced with bare cinderblock walls and bags of contruction materials that we had to walk by to get to our room. At first we thought it was the wrong floor. We stayed one Saturday night and construction workers started working Sunday morning. Upon entering the room, we discovered that the bath towels in were wet. This was apparently from the shower overspray in the Wet bath style bathroom while being cleaned? Also, the room safe was nowhere to be found when the guest book said every room has one. Otherwise the room was nice and modern/chic and the location mere steps from Gangnam shopping, restaurants, train station (신논현역) and nightlife is great. The staff was friendly upon dealing with them and provided an umbrella and luggage storage upon request. I would stay again once they complete construction and work out any issues with the room amenities

Worst experience in hotel stay ever!!!
I read the review prior to booking for three nights in the suppose to be a upscale hotel in Gangnam. My worst mistake ever. In the morning of my first day, there was no hot water in the shower and the front desk did know why. Next morning when I woke up, I had to find another place to stay, because of all the bed bug bits that my girlfriend and I got during the night. No refund and no apologizes from the management. It been a week now since my return to the US and I still am itchy.

Nice Hotel in Gangnam
Hotel employees are helpful. We had a pleasant stay. Hotel is near many restaurants. Will go back to this hotel when we visit Gangnam.

I stayed here only a night, the room rate is not worth for it (4 Star****). The hotel I can say "super design hotel", good for taking a photo. But, Room is not clean, I unpacked the bag on the floor and still have a tiny dirty, unless, the bathroom still good condition. Furniture is not usable and Comfort to use, There are not enough lighting in the room and mirror is not in the proper position and too small in the baht room only. When taking a shower the water will spray over the floor. you may slip easily. Toilet is good design but not friendly use. Room temperature uncontrolled because the staff said that the hotel take control for whole floor/building, so my room so freezing.
