Excellent place like a home when travelling. Love the swimming pool. Kitchen and washing machine with drying function in the apartment are highly appreciated. The kitchen even provide dish washing liquid. It would be great if they can also provide a dish washing scrub. No complaints at all. This place made my holiday. Will definitely come back again.

It is above a very high end mall with luxury shops and restaurants, metro is also underneath, which is only 2 stops to the People's Square. Fantastic view of the Bund from the footbridge of the hotel. Taxi to everywhere is also very cheap.

Hotel room is designed poorly. Hairdryer power plugs into a socket inside a drawer which cannot be opened without hitting the toilet. Smoke detector is installed above the bed and flashing lights every second. Other than this, everything else is good in terms of facilities, services and cleanliness.

We stayed for 4 nights in Shanghai and everything was fantastic. The room and bathroom was beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful and attached to a great mall. The service was superb. Anything we asked was done IMMEDIATELY! Five Star! Home away from home!

IFC Residences
Got a 2 bedroom in IFC Residences beside the IFC Mall. The hotel location was very good as it was near the IFC Mall, subway and to major tourist attractions in Pudong.

Perfect location for shopping and walking around, the rooftop swimming pool was amazingly clean with a beautiful view of the landscape. Suite was quite cozy and spacious, shower was really powerful. The living space on 3rd floor is connected to the IFC mall so it's quite convenience to walk around

It’s a great place for longer stays in Shanghai. It’s right next to the harbor and Pearl Tower The room has everything an apartment would have like mini kitchen, microwave, sink, tableware, stove and oven. In the room is even a washer and bathrooms have a bidet which is huge deal if you are already used to that at home. Location is basically connected to a upscale mall where there is all the high-end brands, the type when you walk in, it smells like roses. There is also a big Apple Store. There are lots of restaurants and even a Shake Shack burger joint so you can get a relief from the local food. It’s got a nice heated pool on the top floor with a sauna and fitness center. There is a little place where the kids can play which was a lifesaver if you got little kids. There is this “living room” common area on the 3rd floor where breakfast is served, it’s got a bunch of couches and tables so you can chill out and drink some free coffee all day. That layer has also a outdoor patio where you can sit outside under the tall buildings. Business center is really decent with computers, printers, a copier and shredder. You have to walk through this common area and take another elevator to get to the lobby, it’s a little inconvenient but not a big deal. The only negative point is the breakfast which could try a little harder. It just does not match how nice everything else is. Overall I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Good for family stay
We really enjoyed the stay in IFC residence. Family-friendly room and equipment. Swimming pool is great for children, although the water temperature is rather low. The breakfast doesn't have a wide variety of food selection but still delicious.

Full privacy. Warm service when we arrived in winter. Highly recommend to families. Convenient to everything including metro transport, cinema and so many gourmet restaurants. All of those luxury brand shops are just downstairs.
