I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Rotana. The staff were very friendly, the food was great with new buffet options daily, and the resort was clean and well-maintained. The beach was stunning, with amazing coral and fish — a top-notch snorkeling spot! The only downside was the limited entertainment options, which could use more variety and better quality. Overall, a fantastic experience

The people every where are friendly, working around the hour to make your dreams true. Starting from front desk, Amir, Ahmed, going to the concierge, Ekramy, Salama, Ahmed, then to the food resturant, manager Ibrahim, waiters, Yassir, Faris, chief Mohamed for the pasta, chief Mohamed forcthe desert, chief mohamed for special diet. Then the doctor onboard, Dr. Mahmoud. Activity center on the beach is amazing.

entertainment poor.for five days they were building marques for a new years eve gala night.we were departing on the 29th of december,but had to put up with the noise of builders hammers banging and general noise and waste that comes with 30 men erecting and building a massive construction.the infinity pool was closedfor 4 days.you had to walk over false flooring to get to restaurants and the main reception.

Title:Disappointing Stay at a Supposed Five Star Resort We recently stayed at the Grand Rotana Sharm El Sheikh, booked through Expedia, expecting a five-star experience. While there were some positives, repeated issues made our stay disappointing. Positives:
Airport transfers by Expedia were excellent, spotless, comfortable cars and courteous drivers. Flights with EasyJet were smooth, and the Club Lounge was a real highlight thanks to Mohammed and his outstanding team. The restaurant and housekeeping staff also provided great service. Negatives:
From the first day, our rooms suffered serious maintenance problems; a flooded bathroom, ceiling leaks, and faulty air conditioning that required repeated repairs and a room change. The pool area was poorly maintained with missing tiles and loose fittings, and hygiene standards were concerning, both my wife and I suffered stomach upsets requiring medication. One of the main escalators was also out of action on numerous evenings for repair and despite operating a card system sunloungers were reserved with towels well before 8am and left unused for many hours. Dining options were limited (à la carte only twice in 10 nights) and inconsistent in quality. Management was reactive rather than proactive. Having stayed at other Rotana properties, this hotel fell well below the brand’s usual standard. Despite a few standout staff members, the overall experience did not reflect a five-star resort and left us deeply disappointed.

HORRIBLE STAY

-Deluxe room as booked but can't be even normal!! It was room #1127 -Rude rescue team at the pool and impolite way in speaking to gusets and their managers is taking no action at all to stop that. - Room full of ants and insects, cleaning level is a disaster , i have to call to bring some one to take the trash! -Ants were found also in my drink at Ramsis restaurant at the hotel and the guy comfortably said it won't be the last problem!! -Not recommended at all

My first and last time such hotel !

I booked upon recommendation of my friend about how amazing the hotel is and stayed in room 1127. Since i entered the room the problems has started. The room supposed to be deluxe one but it was full of insects "ants" and my baby was harmed by them many times !! They said they clean the room every 48 hours but nothing happened, i even have to call to bring some one to take the trash!!!. I found ants in my drink at the restaurant "RAMSIS ONE"! and when I called the guy to show it to him , he looked in the glass saying i am not saying anything although it was on the surface!! then said that such problems happened a lot and this will not be the last time for having such problems so sorry by any way!! I actually dont know how he could speak in such way to a customer till now!.The electric stairs was damaged and i have to climb the huge amounts of stairs lifting my baby stroller just to reach to the restaurant!, The rescue team working on the pool are more than rude, speak in un proper way with my wife to prohibit her from going to the swimming pool claiming that time is ended although it was 5 pm and when we called the Mr Mohamed from the reception, he said no time is still on till 7pm !!! and the guy should not said that and advised if it repeats again just let him know without even taking any action with him!! Very disappointing place, do not recommend it at all.

Nice stay but...

Good place but more suitable in summer rather than in winter because adult bool is not heated but kids pool is heated. Rooms some are new and amazing others are old so always choose renovated rooms otherwise amazing place
