WOW WOW WOW What a hotel. Absolutely stunning decor and immaculately clean. Staff are super helpful (you do need google translate) but they go out of their way to help. Buffet dinner was questionable but I did arrive very late so Iโ€™ll caveat that. Breakfast buffet was much much better. European and Chinese food on offer. Chefs will cook you fresh eggs/omelette if you ask (not obvious to non Chinese). Bar/lounge is stunning but people can smoke indoors so thereโ€™s a smell if youโ€™re a non smoker. Room service is delivered by robot and I could follow those โ€˜guysโ€™ around all day. Amazing technology. Amazing views of the Olympic park if youโ€™re on the correct side of the hotel.

Only negative as a UK resident is they do not have the +44 dialling code we-up to receive a Wi-Fi login password which means. You have to take your gadgets to reception so they can set them up for you.

disappointing

We needed to change rooms after the first night. The first room had no hot water for the shower, one side of the bathroom sink faucet did not work. There were a number of lights that did not work also. The next morning we asked for another room which they gave us. We had hot water but the rain shower did not work. I know this sounds like I am being very picky but for an up scale hotel I expect better.

A great hotel in Shenyang. Love it.

Comfortable and great stay. Though the first night, there were small defects such as the standing lamp shade dislodge & bulb fused, the engineer got it fixed quickly. There was some sewerage smell in the toilet and the front desk did a room change for me. Other then that no other issues. Will come back again.
