"WHAT a discovery! I loved my stay at Canalside -- the room was beautifully updated, but still had those historic squeaky wooden floors that remind everyone to be a little quieter (it worked!). The coffee maker produced great morning joe; the shower got hot almost immediately; the bed linens were soft and the towels were a perfect blend of absorbent and scratchy. I just wish I had asked the (very helpful, very personable) staff how to work the air conditioning...thank god they provided a...

"When I come to visit family we always stay here. Nothing fancy. But clean, quiet and well kept up. We appreciate the little extras like a box of tissue or the free water and snacks. Friendly staff and reasonably priced."

"If you are looking for a room for a one night stay well on the road this is a great hotel. No elevator, but the common area is well maintained. The rooms are ok, but the pillows are thin and the breakfast is small."

"Looks a little sketchy from the outside but check in guys were very nice. Room was clean. Right behind the Cdn Duty Free near the border. Im sure some rooms are being used for gov't housing but all in all we had a decent stay for a show in Buffalo. Room was half the price of anything across the border or 25 min away in Niagara Falls. Worked for us."
