“Lovely quiet location with sounds of nature, dining outdoors with lovely gardens, amazing pool! Peacocks and other birds keep you company at breakfast. Room quite basic but does the job, hospitality was very good, as is the location for Sigiriya and national parks. Highly recommend! ”

“This property is in the middle of nowhere so there it comes the magic. I can’t complain about slow and poor wifi or power issues since this isn’t a hotel but a home stay. The family hosting is among the best people you could ever meet, very attentive with guests and providing an excellent service and serving a tasty land grown food. “What a wonderful place. The staff is absolute angels, they are very hospitable and accommodating, they go above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoys their stay and feels like home. Nice and clean room (we stayed in the Deluxe room) The food is REALLY good if you like the lokal cuisine, you have to try It!! Only minus was a lack of other guests, due to the covid situation😕 More People would make the athmosphere here even better😊”

“Danu's homestay is the real experience. 5 star service with many smiles. If your looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience, this is it. Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. The family are absolutely loving,kind and generous. Make sure you have dinner with them. One of the best meals I've had in Sri Lanka. Now for the suprise...
