I was impressed both by the cleanliness and the personality of this motel. It's not your normal cooky cutter hotel that all look alike on the inside. It has a throwback charm to it that is very unique. It could use a bit of paint touch up in a couple of corners and there were a few very minor chips in the furniture that just added to the charm. The breakfast was no feast, but nice, with waffles, eggs, sausage, variety of coffees, several different cereals, and a few breads. Just a warning, this is a love it or hate it type of place, because it isn't a huge chain cooky cutter place, but I loved it and will be back again.

Would suggest marking parking spaces for accommodating room and the additional people loitering during late evenings needs to be addressed. Room had a very strong odor of deodorizer or pot poured; had to wonder what they were covering up. Sofa and chair are very low; bed is very high. Tv didn’t work, turned on and off by itself when it did. Called front desk who said a maintenance man would check but no one ever came.

We stay here every year on our way to the Southwest. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and they serve a good breakfast. This time it was noisy with the trains coming and going all night and some sort of noise coming from above our ceiling.
