The property is clean and quiet. Our flight arrived vert late which pushed my arrival to after 1am. The gal at the front desk was still pleasant! We'll definitely be back next visit!

I have been staying at The Amber Inn for almost 10 years this time every summer. I feel like they are continually adding upgrades. This year there was new artwork on the walls. The staff are always ready to help with anything. Their Continental breakfast is very yummy. I look forward to going there next year for sure!

Property was very clean and beds comfortable. We needed an inexpensive, but clean room. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. Biscuits and gravy, eggs and waffles for breakfast in a very clean area. All for a low price was just what we needed.

Breakfast options were somewhat limited and juice machine did not work during our stay. Would suggest marking parking spaces for accommodating room and the additional people loitering during late evenings needs to be addressed. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay otherwise.

I was impressed both by the cleanliness and the personality of this motel. It's not your normal cooky cutter hotel that all look alike on the inside. It has a throwback charm to it that is very unique. It could use a bit of paint touch up in a couple of corners and there were a few very minor chips in the furniture that just added to the charm. The breakfast was no feast, but nice, with waffles, eggs, sausage, variety of coffees, several different cereals, and a few breads. Just a warning, this is a love it or hate it type of place, because it isn't a huge chain cooky cutter place, but I loved it and will be back again.

Staff was there to greet us after you call them to front. Heavy incense burning all the time. Made my throat hurt every morning. Sheets were covered in hair so asked for new sheets and just used the blankets we had in car. The bathroom door didn’t close so if your comfy with your spouse your good otherwise you get to share bathroom time. Everything was painted over so could see all the previous attempts to paint. so lots of poor maintenance, looked like very half effort was done. TV does has direct so lots of choices. Ice machine was broke. Didn’t do the breakfast so not sure on choices. Has a mini fridge( that worked fine) and microwave( didn’t try) Water had a slimy feel almost like bathing in conditioner. Lots of food options close. The town is very cute and has a great small town feel. Train in the morning at 530 am was an abrupt wake up call. Was disappointed as well checking out. Called on the line to let them know was checking out and from behind the door could hear her say just leave the keys. Would not stay again
