“The main issues we had was the AC defaulting to 77 and we had a hard time falling asleep. At our home, which is almost 3400 ft.² we keep both units under 74° at night. Lastly, because we’re not pork eaters, breakfast options was not ideal for our family.”

“The facility was totally misrepresented in Expedia. Based on the descriptions and photos and the 9.2 rating, we booked 7 nights in a “premier” room. The room we were given did not look even remotely like the photos. The “shower” was a cloth wrap around a free standing tub—away from walls with no grab bars, no place for soap/shampoo. The bathroom was a step down from the bedroom. My wife stumbled to her knees when she got up to use the bathroom at night because she missed the step in the dark....

“Overall stay was good, we didn’t get to sit outside our cottage due to red wasps, informed the staff and they just bought us a can of wasp spray so we can kill them ourselves, we also had ants in our shower, we saw many wasp nest around the cabin old ones but they were there. There was an empty dr pepper bottle and a napkin or paper on the side of the cottage with a water hose just there the whole weekend.( it wasn’t our trash) the blue blanket in our cottage had a bleach stain on it. “We enjoyed the adult pool. Nice clubhouse and restaurant/bar. We had dinner there and it was excellent. Room smelled musty and sheets were kinda scratchy. Great value for the price though.”

“The town of Comfort has great small town vibes taking a person’s memory back to simpler times. We celebrated July 4th here and Hotel Giles was the perfect place to be. The hotel is close to a few eating establishments and very walkable to them. This hotel is clean and historic with very unique rooms. There is a cool courtyard for guests to enjoy. “This was such a unique find! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We stayed in cabin 6 and had a great view of the creek. The pool at the sister hotel was perfect for our kids to jump in and cool off. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. The room was crisp and clean. The staff was so accommodating through text from the initial booking all the way through until checkout time. I highly recommend if you're looking for a weekend away in the hill country.”
