โThe breakfast/lunch to go package was very nice for the price. Very handy to take on our trips our for the day. In the kitchen area they need to label more of the drawers and cabinets. Had to literally open every one to find the garbage. Label in multiple languages. โ
โIf you want a good nights stay in a beautiful local area, then this is for you. The restaurant was incredible and the staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I canโt recommend this stay enough. โ
โWe were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasnโt double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasnโt an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. โ
โWe've just returned from a 2 night stay at the Grandhotel Giessbach and wow, what a place! The hotel is certainly grand and is located in the most beautiful location I've ever seen, overlooking Lake Brienz with the Giessbach falls only metres away! The staff were all very pleasant, the breakfast was great, the bar was lovely, the Les Cascades restaurant was lovely, the surrounding park and trails were truly beautiful!
However, my only complaint is that we had to pay 15CHF per night for parking....
โLocation wise, this could not be better. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was nice. The restaurant in the evening has a good selection of Swiss traditional dishes - otherwise you can cross the road and go to Loewen (which belongs to the hotel as well). Note that for late night check-in you need to call them so they can leave your room key in a safe box at the main entrance (dead easy).โ
โIt has the best view of the Grindelwald. There are no tourists in the morning and evening, so you can enjoy the view calmly. The stars are clearly visible at night.

โBellevue Hotel is great! Itโs almost the oldest hotel in Engelberg, but the hotel is very unique, stylish and clean. Very European style. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The most amazing part is the view from the balcony, love it!โ
โAbsolutely loved the property and great view. The spa area was fabulous and a slide for my daughter that she loved. Highly recommend it to families. โ
โIt was a lovely family friendly hotel.Nestled amid the mountains it had serene calm stunning viewsand traditional rooms.Rooms were very clean, good breakfast. There was ample parking space. The town was not far which had different options to eat.
Would recommend the hotel.โ
โThe best hotel I've ever visited! I stayed here for 2 nights to experience winter of Switzerland, and I highly recommend Hotel Fiescherblick to tourists who visit Grindelwald.
Breathtaking view of the mountains, newly opened clean&cozy room, nice breakfast service& restaurant with a variety of wine selections and dinner menu. Thanks to friendly staffs, we made up mind to visit here again, to experience spring, summer and autumn of Grindelwald:)
At the hotel gate, you can take town bus which...
