"The staff were great. I saw four different individuals at the front desk over my weekend stay and everyone was very professional and helpful. "

"Room was very clean, a pair of einglasses and welcome card on the bed. Bathroom was clean however the door did not shut all the way, about a 2 to 4 inch gap. The staff including check in are no where to be found for us anyways. lol. Check in was a list of names and your cabin number, I’m like ok kinda cool more like a summer camp experience and the counselors are not to be found. But hey room was clean and they provide a number to call if any concerns or questions. So this is where this resort shines and screams “I am a Resort!” , the hot tub and pool with natural looking design. So awesome, I love pools and swimming or just relaxing in the water. So this was a lovely getaway. I would stay here again. Lots of things nearby or driving distance. Twain Harte mini golf for one, Pinecrest lake roughly 30 mins , Columbia State park , 30 mins the other way. And Sonora about 15 mins, and Black Oak Casino, and Chicken Ranch Casino are Both in driving distance. "

"Staff was very nice. Breakfast options super minimal. Beds were not very comfortable, very soft and you would sink in. Rooms are remodeled but super cramped. Our coffee maker was missing the piece to put the grounds in and shower gel bottle empty. Nice location, okay overall, nothing special for the price"

"Its the most Rustic hotel in town. Built in 1850. Noise insulation was not a big deal in those days. Bring your ear plugs. Book an upper floor or else listen to foot steps all night."

"Older hotel, but in good condition. Bed was comfortable, room clean, breakfast just okay. Cooler was noisy and garbage pickup in the early morning was very loud making it hard to sleep. Sonora is a charming town to visit. Hotel rate was very good."

"The room was a good size, with 2 queen beds and fairly comfortable. The bathroom was a good size also. We had a patio door leading out to a grassy area with table and chairs, very good for our dog. It was a little noisy when the pool was being used, but it wasn’t too bad. Everyone was very nice. Breakfast was a little different the 2 days we stayed. We will stay there again!"

"This turned out to be an extended stay hotel. We had requested two beds and a sofa and were given a room with one bed and one sofa. The room did not smell good and although it appeared to be clean it was worn. We chose not to stay and I will be requesting a refund"
