The property is gorgeous with a beautiful view of the volcano. Francesco is super responsive and helps coordinates rides into town. The rooms are really nice and there is fresh breakfast every morning. Had a great stay there - very nice people and would stay again.

The overall experiences was excellent. Francesco was a great host. We got delayed on our arrival and he waited patiently for us. The place was very clean, outside noise very isolated and well laid out. Breakfast fresh and made daily, mostly from own backyard. Definitively a repeat.

Francesco is an excellent host and he offers a unique stay near Sorrento. The breakfast was wonderful and the optional rooftop dinner was stellar. A private dining experience with homecooked food overlooking the sea and Vesuvius. A unique and romantic experience that was well worth it.

Excellent in all ways! Francesco is a superb host and the breakfasts on the terrace were special because of his mother’s baking and his service including Fred picked fruit from the gardens!

This B&B is a gem above Sorrento with views of Vesuvius a the sea. Set in a lemon tree and flower garden, this is a perfect place to be if you are using Sorrento as a base or if you simply want a peaceful time to walk the old road trails or sample local cuisine. The host is extremely helpful and accommodating. Five stars are not enough!

Staying at Relais S. Francesco turned out to be one of the highlights of our honeymoon! Not only are the facilities beautiful and the view the best I saw from Sorrento, the service was outstanding. Francesco went above and beyond to make sure our stay and time in the area was the easiest and the best experience it could be. The daily breakfast was delicious, especially with the ability to eat on the roof, looking out over that stunning view. I'm sad that we didn't get the opportunity to have dinner up there, because the menu looked spectacular and if what I tasted at breakfast is anything to go off - I know how special the home-made dinner would have tasted. We had an amazing stay in Sorrento! Francesco was a fantastic host—incredibly warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. His hospitality truly elevated our experience. The property is just a 10-minute drive from the center, offering a peaceful escape while still being close to everything. The rooms were clean, modern, and beautifully updated. One of the highlights was the rooftop—the views were absolutely breathtaking, the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here. If I could give this place 11 stars, I would! Francesco was the most amazing host who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Upon arrival, he gave us a welcome glass of prosecco to enjoy on the rooftop. We even got a special gift at checkout. Every morning we had a home cooked breakfast, pastries made by his mother, on the balcony overlooking the sea. He brought us out cappuccino and freshly squeezed orange juice from the trees in the garden. Francesco was helpful, friendly, and very kind. The views were amazing and I would stay here again without a second thought!

Francesco was an INCREDIBLE host- look no further for your Sorrento stay. Having a rental car can be problematic in Sorrento, but there was ample parking in a gated yard for us. Our room facing the sea was modern, clean and very comfortable including a balcony with a table and chairs. Breakfast with homemade treats from Francesco’s mom was delightful and he would serve us fresh coffees and fresh-squeezed orange juice each morning on the rooftop patio with panoramic views of the sea and Mt. Vesuvius and the mountain behind. The property is a tranquil garden and the hospitality was top notch. With only 3 rooms, we did not hear any guests and it was so peaceful. Even being picked up by tour companies for a boat tour was not problematic as this property is on the same road as many other hotels so we didnt need to drive and deal with the narrow roads and parking at the busy Marina. Fantastic location- 6 min drive down to the tourist main area of Sorrento!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Relais S. Francesco! We drove in with a car, and there were three parking spots inside the gated area. Francesco was kind enough to meet us outside the gate (we missed the turn initially, as it is a small curve). We had the room with the balcony and view facing the ocean, and we loved being able to sit there and admire everything. Breakfast was always the best part of our mornings, with fresh orange juice being made, along with a range of pastries and coffee. Francesco was so kind to bring it up to the rooftop, where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. The shower was perfect, and we never had any issues with the water. Originally, I was hesitant to book as there weren’t many reviews here, but I can truly say this is a special place, and we already miss it. There are only two other rooms, so if you are looking for an intimate and quiet place, this will be perfect for you.

We had such a wonderful stay at Relais Francesco in Sorrento – truly beyond our expectations. From the very beginning, Francesco made us feel at home. He kindly gave us rides to and from downtown Sorrento, including a special trip to Bagni Regina Giovanna, and even took us to the train station on our last day. That personal touch made everything so easy and stress-free. The stay itself was incredibly peaceful – we rested so well. Each morning, we were spoiled with homemade breakfasts prepared by his family: fresh croissants, fruit pies, warm muffins, oranges squeezed right from their garden, and seasonal fruits from their land. Every bite felt full of love and tradition. One of the highlights was walking around the property with Francesco and seeing how his family cultivates tomatoes, cucumber, lemons, kiwis, oranges, olives, nuts, and even their own oil and wine. It was inspiring to see how much care they put into both their home and what they share with guests. We are truly grateful for this experience. If we ever return to Sorrento, we would absolutely stay here again (and again!). Renting a Vespa was the best option for exploring, but even without one, the local bus station is nearby and very affordable. Thank you so much, Francesco and family, for such an unforgettable and heartwarming stay!

Perfect place near Sorrento, with great view

Our stay in relais S. Francesco was really great. All the rooms are new, completely renovated in March 2025. Francesco is a perfect host: he will welcome you “as a member of the family or good friend. Breakfast is very copious, with cakes prepared by Francesco’s mamma, and fresh orange juice. You can ave your breakfast on the rooftop with a gorgeous view on Vesuvio and Naples golf. Only 3 rooms in the house : 2 on sea side and one on garden side with orange and lemon trees. You can also easily park your car in a secure place in the garden. Thank you Francesco for your perfect service, always with a smile !

Relais San Francesco really was a dream place for us. We stayed for almoust a week and it turn out to be one of the best experience we had in Italy. Since the moment you arrive every detail makes you feel so welcoming, the environment you’re surrounded by, between lemon and orange trees and the incredible view of the Vesubio and the sea, it’s absolutely magical. There’s no words to describe the food, that was homemade with so much love and dedication, every bite made you feel closer to Sorrento. If you are looking for the real italian experience, THIS IS IT !!! Bom mas longe do centro

Francesco é um amor, muito atencioso e querido, porém o hotel é de difícil acesso quando se está sem carro ou moto. Fica no alto a mais ou menos 15-20 min de distância do centro de Sorrento, e tivemos bastante dificuldades com transporte por lá. Por muitas vezes tivemos que pegar taxi que davam sempre em torno de 40 euros para uma viagem pequena. De qualquer forma, o quarto é bem espaçoso, banheiro muito bom e tinha uma vista lindissima. O café da manhã também é bem personalizado e o lugar bem aconchegante.

Hospedagem espetacular em Sorrento!

A vista para o Vesúvio é espetacular!! Apartamento amplo com varanda e todo reformado. A limpeza do quarto estava impecável qdo chegamos. O café da manhã é variado com 3 tipos de frutas, pães e quitutes caseiros muito gostosos. O anfitrião Francesco foi extremamente atencioso e nos ajudou prontamente com tudo que necessitamos. O Relais é perfeito para uma viagem de casal com carro. Digo isso, pq a localização fica à uma distância de 4 km de Sorrento. Voltaríamos com certeza absoluta!

A wonderful, peaceful, place with Francesco the friendly young host who, assisted by his parents' work in house and garden, takes a pride in looking after his guests. Everything is immaculate, modern and comfortable, and the breakfast experience, including home grown and made delicacies on the rooftop with a panoramic view of the whole Bay of Naples is the stuff of dreams. It's an enjoyable half an hour walk down to Sorrento, though challenging when acclimatising and if you want to work off excess going up is an option for the at least moderately fit! Bus-stops are fairly close by but some walking on the windy road where good hearing is required, is necessary. A great basecamp for seeing this stunning part of the world!
