"My second stay here. I have no problem with is place. I love the location. The major challenge is the check-in and check-out time. Then again some of the staff are not friendly. The hotel cancelled my initial booking under the pretext that I needed to confirm. They didn't contact me despite hotel.com contacting them that they are conforming to my booking. theses created a lot of confusion which was later sorted out by hotels.com "

Interesting option with drawbacks
"I think it's important to know this is someone's house with a few hotel rooms upstairs. There are some less-than-ideal aspects. The place is very echoey, so if the owners are entertaining downstairs you will hear it in your room. The lighting is very harsh, bright white, which is a big no for me personally. And the bathroom/shower has frosted glass walls that lead on to the hallway. No one can really see you but it doesn't feel that comfortable. Just some strange design choices. The owner couple is incredibly sweet though and they have two very nice dogs too. So if you like a semi-homestay kind of feeling and aren't too picky about lighting and room design, it can be a comfortable and even unique stay."
