Room was very comfortable and reasonably priced, and had its own cute balcony overlooking the street, staff were very helpful- including advising on a good route around the national park and agreeing to store my bag overnight, great wifi, very close to park entrance, and they have excellent coffee. "Расположение отеля может испугать. Но это обманчиво. Район спокойный: это гостиницы, хостелы, кафе. Все удобно, в одном месте радиусом 50 метров. Радует знание английского у управляющих. Я так понимаю, для хостелов это актуально. До ЖД вокзала пешком 15 минут, до канатной дороги где-то так же. Такси в аэропорт стоит 30 юань, 20 минут по пробками. Заселяются молодые люди, парни, девушки из разных стран. Со мной были: США, Морокко, Англия, Япония, Россия."

"The room is very basic, which is expected for the price. It is about 30 mins walk from the parking lot, but that means you are higher up on the mountain. There are two scenic points 10 and 30 mins walking from the place. Food is expensive and plain, but big portions. "

"Location of the hostel is very good. Walkable to the Zhangjiajie National Park entrance. Overall room wasn’t that clean. The washroom had that typical smell and I saw a few stains on the bed sheets. There are only stairs but highest floor is only 5 or 6 I think. Overall it’s just a cheap acceptably clean place to stay near Zhangjiajie National Park."

"Hotel Boss(Pei Pei) is very helpful, and she can speak English. A lot of foreign tourists stay in this hostel which make this hostel lively. The only problem which my friend is not happy because of NO LIFT. He needed to climb up and down using the staircase. He nagged me few days about it. I don't mind to come back to stay this hostel again."

"The staff were accommodating. Not suitable for children. Dirty and run down. I have slept in worse so it is what you pay for. Booked a deluxe double room with ensuite. Received a room with 4 bunks and a shared bathroom. Squatting toilet & shower over toilet. I chose this place because of locality, by Shaolin Temple.I won't be booking here again."

"Staff didn’t speak English well, cute place but not overly safe (they have signs saying to leave valuables in the safe with the front desk) we didn’t have any issues but the signs are there for a reason..., really good pizza, Xingping is cute. "

"Kaibin apartment is located at the good location - close to( probably 10-15 minutes walk) the center of the city. Subway is just a few minutes' walk as well. The service is a bit slow but ok if you are patient. If you request something, they will do to meet your need. Some rooms has the washer and the dryer. If you need them, they are very useful for stay more than a few days because there is no public laundry in the city and if you don't want to hand wash your soiled clothes. Now, the things...
