Perfect camping

The staff were all super friendly and attentive, they really make you feel at home. The tents were cozy and perfectly equipped. Loved the experience, will be back for sure.

Pleasantly Surprised

I have never been glamping and gave it a try as my wife and I were passing through for a night. We rented a simple tent (only there to sleep for 10 hours) and were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the bed (better than hotel rooms) and the cleanliness of the tent. A storm came through that night and no issues of water in the cabin/tent, just a great night of sleep to the soothing sounds of the rain.

The staff was wonderful, very kind, and helpful. The ambiance and location were great. We stayed in a tent which was lovely in many ways, but there was a dog that stayed there before us and the floors had so much dog hair and even a huge ball of human hair. It appeared that they completely forgot to clean the floors. We let them know and they came and cleaned, rugs were vacuumed but hair just was moved around, still had clumps of fur and hair in multiple places it was really gross. It was really disappointing, a quick glance around after cleaning they should have seen it and the vacuum must have hit something on the way out as there were clumps of hair as soon as we opened the tent. Also, the string lights going to the tents looked beautiful but really glad I had an eye mask on me as it was bright in the tent to sleep. They need more help too, not enough staff on hand to handle checkout. You have to park away from tents which is nice but waiting to get a ride on the golf cart back to your car is a headache when you have so many people trying to leave at the same time. I'd stay there again but they have some kinks to work out.

I absolutely loved the property. It was quaint and welcoming. I loved picking Blueberries anytime of the day. The staff was warm and gave me great suggestions about the town. I can’t wait to visit again. Looking at hosting my 20th wedding anniversary there with family and friends

Our stay was excellent. This was out first time there and it didn't disappoint. My only suggestion would be that you make sure that you bring an extension cord with multiple outlets on that cord. There are only a few outlets in the tent, so extension cords would be very helpful. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.

Everything you need is provided and more. The property is stunning, clean, lit well and peaceful. Close to town/beach. The bikes provided were safe and easy to ride the 4 miles/30 min. to south beach. Massage therapist was very skilled and relaxing in the pines with fresh air flowing and birds chirping was rejuvating. I visited solo for 2 nights but I will return with my husband to experience the fall foliage.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Field of Michigan, and overall, it was a pleasant glamping experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to enjoy our time outdoors. Glamping here was a lot of fun, as it allowed us to appreciate nature without sacrificing modern conveniences. We found that everything we required for a great experience was readily available, which contributed to our enjoyment. Based on this experience, I would consider staying at Field of Michigan again in the future.

It was a beautiful setting but, not for $200/ night. I’ve camped everywhere for MUCH less and at least had a SHOWER. On a brighter note, the staff was incredible.

We had a great experience at The Fields of Michigan. The canvas tents were clean and well maintained. The breakfast and dinner that were available were very good and having bikes available to go and take on the nearby bike pass was a great amenity. Finally being able to pick blueberries was just an added bonus. I would definitely come back in the future. I’ve already recommended it to some of my friends.

Lovely property, great breakfast.

We had an excellent experience at this property. The tents are clean and included VERY comfy bed sheets and just the right amount of decoration. We enjoyed the campfires at night, especially the one in the back of the property to avoid the group of kids that took over the front one. The chef is wonderful. Our breakfasts were filled with fresh blueberries and the best eggs I've ever had! Irene (the owner),her daughter and dogs were super inviting and personable. Regarding the value of this lodging option, these tents can only be rented for 2 seasons a year, and the prices reflect that. However, in hindsight the additional cost to stay here was not reflected in any additional amenities or perks. I would've liked to have dinner by the chef, my room turned over everyday, WiFi, and/or some external activities built into the experience.

This place is amazing. We had such a great time; Irene and the crew were excellent hosts, had so much knowledge of the local area and were really fun to be around. It’s everything we’d hoped it would be for our first glamping experience.
