The staff were all super friendly and attentive, they really make you feel at home. The tents were cozy and perfectly equipped. Loved the experience, will be back for sure.
I have never been glamping and gave it a try as my wife and I were passing through for a night. We rented a simple tent (only there to sleep for 10 hours) and were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the bed (better than hotel rooms) and the cleanliness of the tent. A storm came through that night and no issues of water in the cabin/tent, just a great night of sleep to the soothing sounds of the rain.
Everything you need is provided and more. The property is stunning, clean, lit well and peaceful. Close to town/beach. The bikes provided were safe and easy to ride the 4 miles/30 min. to south beach. Massage therapist was very skilled and relaxing in the pines with fresh air flowing and birds chirping was rejuvating. I visited solo for 2 nights but I will return with my husband to experience the fall foliage.
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Field of Michigan, and overall, it was a pleasant glamping experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to enjoy our time outdoors.
Glamping here was a lot of fun, as it allowed us to appreciate nature without sacrificing modern conveniences. We found that everything we required for a great experience was readily available, which contributed to our enjoyment.
Based on this experience, I would consider staying at Field of Michigan again in the future.
It was a beautiful setting but, not for $200/ night. I’ve camped everywhere for MUCH less and at least had a SHOWER. On a brighter note, the staff was incredible.
We had an excellent experience at this property. The tents are clean and included VERY comfy bed sheets and just the right amount of decoration. We enjoyed the campfires at night, especially the one in the back of the property to avoid the group of kids that took over the front one. The chef is wonderful. Our breakfasts were filled with fresh blueberries and the best eggs I've ever had! Irene (the owner),her daughter and dogs were super inviting and personable.
Regarding the value of this lodging option, these tents can only be rented for 2 seasons a year, and the prices reflect that. However, in hindsight the additional cost to stay here was not reflected in any additional amenities or perks. I would've liked to have dinner by the chef, my room turned over everyday, WiFi, and/or some external activities built into the experience.
This place is amazing. We had such a great time; Irene and the crew were excellent hosts, had so much knowledge of the local area and were really fun to be around. It’s everything we’d hoped it would be for our first glamping experience.
