"Great hotel & well-priced. Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. If you stay here, be prepared to negotiate your way up & down a pretty steep hill when walking to & from central Queenstown. Not suitable for those with mobility challenges. The Coco Cabana serves a delicious coco oat bowl for breakfast. However, it closes at 8:30pm & there is no room service after this time."

"The property is well situated except that it is not on the Bus route. Very clean facilities. Beds made daily. Tea & Coffee tray stocked up every day. Impressed with the shower draining freely as this is a matter of concern for us. Will try & stay here again on our annual pilgrimage to Queenstown (ZQN)"

"Stunning property, lake views were phenomenal! Family room was spacious and very well appointed, super comfy beds and cleaned beautifully. A little further out of town but still close enough to walk, worth it for the views! Would definitely stay here again."

"We would definitely stay at Pinewood again. Our only issue was that we didn't have anywhere to hang our wedding attire. Luckily I had my own hangers so I hung them on the bunk bars. However my other companions didn't. Loved the shower and the beds were so comfortable and warm. The staff were so helpful and happy. Cool place."
