"Check-in took forever because the front desk was overwhelmed. I unknowingly booked during bike week, so the hotel was extremely loud all night with motorcycles revving engines and blasting music. The entire floor smelled strongly of weed.
The room was dirty and outdated. Cabinets and drawers were sticky, the carpet was covered in stains, and the tile floor felt sticky under my feet. I avoided walking barefoot in the room the entire stay. Outdoor pool was fine but the hot tub was only warm and disgusting. The only ice machine was empty and very dirty.
Parking was a nightmare. I was told I couldn’t park in the garage because I wasn’t staying in that building, so I parked in front with my parking pass displayed. At 10 PM the front desk called and told me to move because I was supposedly in “motorcycle parking.”
While moving my car, the security guard assured me multiple times that I could park in the nearby metered spaces without getting a ticket because I had a hotel parking pass. The next morning I found a city parking ticket on my windshield anyway.
To make matters worse, the hotel restaurant was closed and the front desk incorrectly directed me to a Starbucks that didn’t exist nearby.
I reported everything to management, and while they apologized and promised to follow up, I still haven’t heard back days later. Between the dirty room, noise, parking issues, and poor staff communication, I would never stay here again."
