I received a welcome letter via email just before 6pm on the day of check in with information which would have been more useful prior to this time giving that we could have arrived from 3pm especially as there was vital information such as how to find the property as relying on sat nav directions would be unsuccessful.
The letter also requested that if possible could we advice them of an arrival time. I had already tried to call to inform them that we would be arriving in the evening however the number listed on expedia is a dead line. The number on the Days in website is a national number which was not being picked up and the welcome letter had no contact number listed.
The hotel is basic, there is no facilities on site (food, drink etc) as there is the service station next time).
I had not picked up on others reviews that there was no air conditioning, had I had realised this I would not have booked here. The rooms are extremely hot so we had to have the window open, these could only be opened slightly due to the restrictors so made little difference. Unfortunately this then meant that we were kept up all night by the sound of the motorway traffic which is just a few metres away.
We will not be staying here again.
