โThe Club House was centrally located and walkable to any destination in the Medevil section of the city. The staff was professional, polite and personable.
The breakfast was plentiful, with a continental buffet as well as your choice of cooked breakfast items. โ
โGreat location with plenty of options for dining and sightseeing. The rooms are clean and the staff were friendly. Just know that they do not have air conditioning in the rooms. They will provide you with a portable fan if requested. Well worth the cost to stay in this beautiful area. โ
โVisiting family - I was born and raised in Waterford - I was looking for accommodation near to the city centre. The Marina Hotel was ideal and had the added bonus of secure parking. The room was on the top floor - via a lift - and was clean, spacious and quiet. Would use again. โ
โLoved our stay here. Hotel is much bigger than what meets the eye from the street (so they were able to accommodate our request for 2 separate beds. I think we essentially got a free upgrade). It's in a good central location, with everything within walking distance.
Travel tips:
Book a guided tour of Kilkenny Castle if you can. You get too see amazing parts that are not available during self-guided visits.
Have dinner/drinks/listen to live music at Kyteler's Inn. It's a 700 year old...

โBeautiful room and hotel, very secure and comfortable with lots of takeaways and coffee shops adjacent, the breakfast was lovely and the only issue I could name was that it was incredibly warm in the room, however the hotel does provide a Dyson fan which was a great benefit while pointed directly at us but it really didnโt cool the room at all, and while trying to sleep is far too loud. Air con would be a massive bonus on warmer days, but aside from that 5* accommodation and we will 100% return,...

I used the gym while i was here and it was ok but the cable weights could do with being updated and some of the weight machines
