The Beachside

"We enjoyed our stay very much! The only complaint we have is that the housekeeping procedures were not made clear to us. When we checked in they didn’t really walk us through how that part of the stay worked. Mind you - we were here for a week. So we anticipated someone at least coming in to take our trash and replenish supplies. After three days of no housekeeping service - the housekeeping people came by our room when we were in it. So I stepped out and asked them if they did turndown service to which one of the women laughed at me and scoffed and said no and moved on to the next room. One of the ladies said “no we don’t but if you need anything please let us know and we’d be happy to help” this all left a bad taste in my mouth but we accepted it. Then a few days later day 5, a different group of housekeepers came by and knocked and asked if we needed any housekeeping - which we thought was strange because the other group told us they didn’t do that? On day 6 when we came back we realized they came into our room and replenished the supplies. But left a note saying they weren’t sure if we wanted the bed made???? The whole thing was so bizarre and a disappointment considering we loved everything else about our stay. They should be more clear about the housekeeping. A big part of selecting a hotel over an Airbnb for me is housekeeping and it was a bummer to really not get any at our time here."

"Been to Catskill camp site and this time exploring cape cod! The airstream is the same, service facilities everything is similar! I personally like Cape Cods site more! Will be back very soon They hv pretty much everything for BBQ, I brought my own knife and chopstick this time"

"I was upset to find out that I had to pay for parking, I’m already paying to stay at the hotel, why should I or any guest that comes you see me pay anything additional?"

"Brand new finishes, beds and exteriors. Continental breakfast is lux and fresh. The view from any room is amazing and being like 10 mins from ptown is perfect. The owners have really breathed new life into this inexpensive landmark."

"The room was pretty dirty, just from walking with my socks (brand new) by the end of one day were completely black, there was mold in the bathroom, toilet paper holder was broken off of the wall, first night there was not able to watch anything and relax until late at night because they didn’t have the credentials for the roku tv then when requesting a new room was able to “obtain them” aside from all of that was just the fact we asked for a roll away crib for our newborn and realized it was flipped upside down to see old pee stains over the mattress which I know babies are babies but you could at least replace the mattresses at a certain point and thought showed pretty low standards as a totality, needless to say they slept with us. Overall it was okay but the room was extremely unkept with “true cleaning” not a surface swipe and resell. aside from cleanliness everything else was okay."
