“We stopped at Ragged Edge on our way home from Key West. It’s a hidden gem for boaters! Several slips for boats, good dock, nice pool, and plenty of parking. There are several small buildings housing the rooms. We were in building 2, which I believe has 6 rooms. The room was big, clean, and fully equipped with a stove and refrigerator, cabinets, etc. The view of the Atlantic was very nice. “An absolutely lovely place to stay in Historic Downtown Washington. Parking was convenient - I really like having an assigned space. I wish we could have spent more time there but we were just making a quick trip. Plenty of shopping, restaurants, bars and attractions within walking distance, especially the waterfront. We will definitely be back!”

“I would stay here again and again. I love the ambiance and charm of the historic home which still shines through along side the luxurious updates in the beautiful bathroom, soft rugs, comfy bed. “Very nice staff. Easy check-in. Room was quaint. It was very quiet which was great. The room was clean and orderly. It is an old home, but was quite pleasant. This isn’t a criticism, but to let other travelers know, the refrigerator and microwave are in the shared living room area. They are not in the individual rooms. The location of the property was also excellent for sightseeing, and near a variety of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.”

“We are only sorry we could not stay longer than one night as we were going hone on the last leg of an extended road trip. The room was spotless and cozy and it was very nice to unwind on the porch with the mountain view, after a full day of driving. With a whirlwind short stay, we arrived late and left early and therefore missed meeting any of the staff, but we appreciate how easy they made it for us to check in and check out. We hope to come back again to more fully enjoy the property.”

“My husband and I were on a mini weekend get-away. It was the 2nd time we had stayed at the Hotel, and we will stay there many more times! The couple that run the Hotel are top notch and pay great attention to detail! We had multiple options for breakfast and each one we tried was delicious.
