Travelling from Australia,, surprised the room didn’t have a bar fridge ( I didn’t check if in room details- lesson for me). I had the impression there was a hotel carpark . The carpark is part of the main carpark that includes a mini shopping centre- mainly fast food outlets. The first 2 hours free, but then 5gbp. It was an extra cost I hadn’t realised. “Easy check in really nice young man on reception. Room was excellent nice and clean, good bed & pillows, great bathroom. Tea & coffee tray nicely stocked. Quiet room. Easy very early morning check out. Perfect! ”
“I booked a single room which was basic but had everything I needed for a quick stopover. The hotel is on the flight path so expect to hear the planes!
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with outside seating . Food was good, restaurant staff very friendly.
Just a tip (and nothing to do with the hotel) if you book a taxi at the airport from the only taxi supplier to the hotel and back , it’s going to cost best part of £50!

“The Pub was a grade 2 listed building which was a 1700 era the best way to describe it is Quirky! . The internal pub area was full of history and upstairs the rooms fixtures and fitting new with the decoration being fresh but sympathetic to the age of the building. the food was good Pub Grub and the cooked breakfast was great Full English or Full Scottish Both filling and well cooked, served piping hot! Lovely outside area and caters for Dogs. ”

“Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore. ”
