“Nice house, little bare bones but did the job and took care of our family. The rooms are as pictured and the beds were comfortable. The layout is nice and simple with a good open kitchen / living room with a nice TV to watch shows or play board games in. The owners were understanding and communicated through the app within hours, we never saw them personally but the key was right where they said and easy to get to and use. Good people. The house delivers what it promises, and is a good deal...

“Lovely clean room. Sparse but comfortable. Staff are friendly. Checkin is strictly at 3. I was an hour early, and unwell, so it was annoying being told to wait (along with many others). Understand policies, just felt like a naughty child. There is a small store which is very handy. It's only 30 min walk to the centre. I appreciated the kitchen to use the kettle. You could make toast or use a microwave too. One blind was broken, allowing people to see into my room on the ground floor. ...

“The only thing I did not like about this summer student residence compared to others associated with UCC (e.g. Broga house) is the greater distance to the centre of Cork. But, that said, there is a city bus stop at the doorstep and the service is frequent and reliable.”

“The host was unfriendly and hadn't turned heat on so was very cold. Kitchen and bathroom had no heat. Terrible shower and refrigerator was worthless owner told us a stick in the freezer. Even her son said this was a nuisance. I would stay at West Cork Hotel in Skiberean again never again at Rineen.”

“There is a parking lot around the corner which is helpful in a really busy town. The unit itself is a bit worn and tired but handles basic needs. The shower is very unique and there were no instructions as to how to turn it on. The owner let us know once we reached him. The shower itself is poor. Very little pressure. On a positive note, the owners are friendly and helpful. Great, great location!”
