Like usual, this is a bit different from the usual hotel room - the facilities are great and the amenities far more comfortable than you’d think for the price , but if you want the average motel experience keep looking. Vintage touches galore., modern AC / hvac, no direct controls. Wifi limited. Mcmenamins restaurants are technically next door , meaning you will ever so briefly exit to street...

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the space felt open and enjoyable. The only thing I did not love was the lighting. Like many hotels now, it was dim in both the bathroom and the main room, with only lamps and accent lights instead of recessed ceiling lights. Brighter lighting in the bathroom would definitely be a plus. The adjustable shower head was another highlight, especially since many hotels have low pressure shower heads that do not work very...

“This property is an amazing renovation of a historic building, so it has a lot of charm. We were a little nervous when they pointed out the earplugs in the room, but we honestly didn't hear the train all night, and the wedding party in the ballroom was done by 10pm. I would recommend this hotel. ”
