"Super clean rooms, staff were unbelievably friendly and grounds are superb. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, best breakfast I’ve had in any UK hotel and we can’t wait to go back. The spa facilities are clean & well maintained enjoyed by the whole family. Full sports tv package within rooms, England FC themed throughout the hotel and we were able to book an hours football on a trg pitch for no added fee; a great touch to a football themed night away. "

"Great overnight stay at The George Hotel which is centrally located in the city and within walking distance of all the shops and attractions. Room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Staff welcoming and helpful and would recommend to others and return if staying in the area again"

"Booked this at the last minute and it was a great choice. Struggled to find it on a dark and rainy night because it’s part of the Dragon pub and I couldn’t find a sign for the cottage! Parking was quite busy but still found a space. Much better than the drab budget hotels in Derby."

"The pool was quiet, relaxing and enjoyable. We used the sausa, steam room and the jacuzzi. The staff were hard working and amazing. Just like to say a big thank you to Raul, and Esha in the restaurant who made our dining experience very enjoyable and Chris in the bar who kept us entertained with him good humour and quick wit. "Hotels.com with the hotel have some payment issue. When I check in the hotel front desk staff said that i need to pay for this trip, however, I already fully paid when i booked the hotel. After check and clarified she confirmed already received my payment. And I called to Hotel.com the staff request me to pay again for the hotel and refund my previous payment with Hotel.com due to some payment issue between Hotel.com and the Hotel. But is it the issue of customer why i have to do that. Also...
